Recipe: Fruit Pizza
Here’s another recipe that I wanted to share for those summer parties, or get togethers. It is festive, easy to make, and is also quite tasty.
Fruit Pizza
For crust:
1 stick butter melted
1 cup flour
3 Tsp. Powdered Sugar
Mix together and press in 13″ x 9″ baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
Second Layer:
1- 8 oz. package cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 pint whipped cream
Cream the sugar, cream cheese and vanilla together. Whip the cream in a separate bowl at a medium speed. Fold it into the cream cheese mixture. Spread over the baked crust.
Topping:
Cut fresh fruit in pieces on your granite countertop, or granite island, such as strawberries, kiwi’s, blueberries, pineapple, etc. Place pieces on top of second layer.
Note: Cutting on your granite countertops will not harm them. It may however, dull your knives, so you might opt to use a cutting board. For more information, see FAQ’s.
Refrigerate for 1 hour. Cut and serve.
Enjoy!
