We do not currently stock soapstone at our facility. We could refer you to local suppliers that have it in stock. Soapstone is very durable and has been used in chemistry labs for many years! We can travel anywhere for a project. Thanks for reading!!

Hi, do you have soapstone for us to look at? We were at a granite cutter last weekend and we like soapstone. My husband is worried about Soapstone and it’s resistance to chemicals, acid, water and heat. Should we be alarmed? I read on your website that we should have a dimensioned sketch for quoting purposes. I will have Gregg send a facsimile from work tomorrow. Do you travel to Windom, Minnesota?

Bye,

Wineberry is a material that is more of a terracotta color with veining (photos of the color will be on our website soon!), whereas the Sageberry is a darker color with some mica areas. Thanks for reading!

Thanks for your feedback. I am glad you found it helpful. There is no need to worry about staining of your granite. The granite we install is sealed before it leaves our shop diminishing the chances of staining.

Angie,

Thank you for the great information on this Blog. I was able to print off care instructions from your link. I recently read that lighter granites are easier to stain? Should I be worried about my venetian golden granite?
