Fun And Fishing At The Boundary Waters Canoe Area
A few weeks ago, six guys from the PGC team took a fishing trip to the BWCA (Boundary Waters Canoe Area) in northern Minnesota. Most of the guys that went, had never been there before, and didn’t quite know what to expect. It was hard work carrying in the 100 lb. packs along with canoes down numerous portages before making it to their destination campsite. They did however, have an advantage over most, since they work with heavy granite everyday, and they all made it in and out just fine. The weather could have been a little warmer, but the fishing was great. They had plenty of fish to eat up there, and came back with 10 lbs of walleye fillets.
While they were able to relax, fish, enjoy the beautiful scenery, and get some time away from fabricating and installing granite countertops, they weren’t able to totally get away from granite. Notice the big granite boulders in some of the pictures below.
Funny…you’ll never see that material they call “natural quartz” anywhere in the great outdoors!
