The Natural Beauty of Granite…

There are literally hundreds and hundreds of granite colors available for countertops. Since some granites can be very consistent looking, and others having great variation in flow, and color, we encourage our customers to come to our showroom to narrow their choices down. Customers can make their selections from both our samples, and stock slabs, or we can direct them to a local supplier to select their slabs.

Some customers are also interested in laying out their material prior to fabrication. To accomodate them, we usually encourage them to make an appointment, after the field measure has been completed. We will do the best to accommodate a customer’s requests, however due to those natural variations, it may be difficult to get exactly what they want out of each slab.

Our fabricators take a lot of pride in making sure the seam matches and flow come together. Keep in mind, the more variance in the slab, the more obvious the seams will be. Fortunately, the beauty of granite is that it does have those natural variations, which make it unique and beautiful.

Granite is a natural product of nature, how much more beautiful can you get?!

Thank you for your wonderful blog. We must remember that within the human existance, variables are present. It is how we react to clients when these variances occur. My counters were installed prior to me purchasing my home. My husband and I were not happy with the color match at the silcone seam location. With that said, the natural stone cutter replaced the piece and now we have a perfect match. I could not be happier! The outcome is outstanding. The color was nero bordeaux, if I remember correctly? Keep up the excellent blog. I try to tune in everyday to see the posts. If Icould pass on 1 recommendation, please try to limit the receipes. I the enjoy the blogs with insight and knowledge.

Shannon, thank you for being an avid reader of the blog. I am glad you are happy with your granite countertops, I am sure they are beautiful! I know many people enjoy the recipe blogs, we feel it is quite appropriate as most of the project we do are kitchen countertops. We like to mix it up a little bit as it keeps people coming back for more. I hope you continue to read our blogs daily!

I will continue checking the blog daily - I’ve often thought of setting the Blog to my homepage instead of craigslist.

    Good day Angie,
I am writing to your blog today in reference to Shannon Renkins remark about limiting the posting of recipes. I have tried and enjoyed most if not all of the recipes posted on the PGC Blog. I have bookmarked it in my favorites and love to come back everyweek to see a new recipe. Maybe you should have some blogs about gardening and canning, to tie in with your recipes. I could share some of my fabulous fresh garden recipes and canning tips. Thank you and keep up the great blog.
