Consider Adding Granite Backsplash When Purchasing A Granite Kitchen!
When remodeling a kitchen, there are many decisions to take into consideration. While material selection and color are among the most important decisions to make, backsplash options are sometimes overlooked.
There are several options when it comes to backsplash including:
- 3-1/2″ to 4″ high
- Full Height backsplash
- Tile
- Combination (Tile with 3-1/2″ to 4″ high, or Full Height with 3-1/2″ to 4″ high, etc.)
Over the years, having a 3-1/2″ to 4″ high has been very popular because it gives a nice look, and allows for easy clean-up with spills and splatters. The combination option, and full height option are also popular and good choices, because they offer a unique look, and again, allow for easy clean-up with spills and splatters. If you choose tile alone, keep in mind that spills and splatters are harder to clean up and may get into the grout joints causing discoloration over time.
