Granite Countertops: Hard To Describe, Easy To Love!
With hundreds of colors available today for granite countertops, the selection process may feel a bit over whelming for some customers. At PGC, when customers visit our showroom to make their color selections, we do our best to help narrow the search by asking a variety of questions.
One question we ask is, “Do you have a color in mind?” Another question we ask is, “What type of look do you like?” With so many colors available, each with their own unique look, it is sometimes funny the descriptions we hear such as…
- “I like the salt & pepper look.”
- “I like the granite’s that have ‘chunks.’”
- “I like the “marbley” look.”
- “I like ‘the flow’ of that granite.”
- “I don’t like the those ’spots’.”
- “I love ‘those spots!’”
- “I like the granite’s with veining.”
- “I like consistency.”
- “I don’t want a granite that looks consistent. I like that natural look.”
- “I like the wild ones.”
No matter how you describe granite, it is easy to fall in love with its time-less beauty, and durability. If you need help with your color selections, please feel free to give us a call, or stop by our showroom. We’re always glad to help.
