Holly has traditionally been associated with Christmas and festivals for centuries. While there are various origins of holly and it’s meaning, many people just view it as a beautiful way to help decorative the home. Welcome to the 12 Blogs of Christmas!
Blog # 9 Deck The Halls
While natural stone countertops have become popular for the kitchen and bathroom over the years, did you know that natural stone has also become quite stylish for other parts of the home including halls, and walls? Many consumers like the look of stone and are incorporating it more and more in their remodeling projects.
Let’s take a look at a few examples:
Cosmos Granite Bar Top With Multi-Colored Slate Wall And Backsplash
In this picture, the home owner incorporated some multi-colored slate for their bar wall, as well as for their backsplash. Notice how the two different stones compliment one another.
Multi-Colored Stair Risers
In this photo, the homeowner chose to use multi-colored slate stair risers. Notice how the stone compliments the natural wood tones.
Multi-Colored Slate Chimney and Wainscoting House Wall
In this photo, the homeowner incorporates some multi-colored slate in an outdoor setting.
And how about those commerical projects?
Many commercial projects frequently incorporate natural stone for flooring, as well as walls. Check out Marble Stays The Course, to read how one remodeling/development firm incorporated some existing marble panels from an old office building into some remodeled loft condos. Talk about Green!
