Granite Countertops—They’re Not All The Same
I am often surprised by the number of customers that think “granite is just granite.” Obviously—it is true that granite, as a material, is granite. It is quarried from the earth and comprised of a variety of different minerals, which give each piece a unique look and color. If you are however, referring to granite countertops, when saying, “granite is just granite,” I would have to disagree. Let me explain…
Many consumers, these days, are all about price, and often just look for the cheapest bid. While a low price is nice, you also have to remember, “you get what you pay for.” When is the last time you purchased a car, or a piece of furniture? Did you opt for the cheapest? If you did, you maybe got something small, with no bells and whistles, and it maybe didn’t last too long. If you are like most consumers, you probably did some homework and bought based on your needs, and the quality of the product, etc. Well—Buying a countertop, is really no different than buying a car. When it comes to countertops, it is the fabricator that makes the difference in the product, the quality of work, and customer service. Sometimes paying a little more is worth the peace mind.
