Granite composite sinks have become a popular choice for consumers, over the last several years. That’s because they offer an alternative look to stainless steal and and are extremely scratch resistant. Granite composite sinks are comprised of 80% Quartzite and 20% Acrylic, and come in a variety of color options. They are also fairly easy to clean and maintain, making them an attractive choice.
Following are some General Maintenance Tips:
- Make sure you clean your granite composite sink regularly. All that is needed is some warm water and dish-washing liquid. You may also use a nylon brush to gently scrub the sink . After cleaning the sink, make sure to use a dry towel, or soft cloth to remove any standing water on the surface.
- Make sure to dry the sink after each use to avoid spots and prevent any hard water build up.
- Avoid the use of harsh chemicals and citrus-type cleaners, as they may cause permanent damage to the sink. Should a spill with a harsh chemical occur, make sure to rinse the sink immediately and thoroughly.
