Add An Elegant Look To Your Kitchen With A Latinum Granite Countertop…

In this blog, I wanted to share a few install photos of a Latinum granite kitchen we recently fabricated and installed. Latinum granite is white or light colored granite that is quarried in Brazil. A gentle movement pattern can typically be seen in this stone that gives it some character. It’s soft tones help establish an elegant look, especially when paired with contrasting, darker wood tones.

Let’s take a look…

Notice how the darker toned cabinets offset the lighter stone.

This picture give a nice visual for the gentle flowing pattern.

This picture shows a close up of the sink area, which features a flat bottom sink.

Notice the tight seam in this photo and how the pattern continuously flows from one piece to another.

Sandulas Quartzite Leather Finish Offers A Unique Look For Countertops!

If you follow my blog, you’ve probably heard me talk about a number of finish options that are available for countertops. While a polished  finish is the most popular, there are a number of other options available including a leather finish. I don’t know about you, but I really like the leather finish, as it provides a unique look and has a slight texture to it.

Let’s take a look at an example of a leather finish…

Sandulas Quartzite Leather Finish

While it might be a little hard to see the texture finish of the stone in this photo, the leather finish provides a smooth finish, but offers a slight texture to the touch. It is a fairly popular choice for for someone looking for something a little different for granite countertops or quartzite countertops, but unfortunately it  is not available for all colors.

Here is a close up, but it still doesn’t quite show how the leather finish appears up close and in person and of course you can’t feel it.

Here is another view also, to help get an idea of the look and feel. Keep in mind that like a honed material, a leather finish is also more susceptible to staining and scratching than one that is polished.

If you are looking for something unique for your countertops, make sure you stop by our showroom. We are happy to help with your selections and answer any of your questions.

Have you ever wondered why you are attracted to some colors more than others? Color not only inspires emotions, but can also help to set a certain mood. That is why it is so important when it comes to decorating.  While color is often a personal choice, it can also be used to create an illusion of more space or convey a certain feeling.
