Create A Uniform Look For Your Kitchen Island With Book-Matching…

In this blog, I wanted to share a few photos of a project that involved the process of book-matching some countertops. So what exactly is book-matching, you may ask? Book-matching is a process used to create a uniform flow pattern between two pieces that need to be seamed together. The flow of the material from one piece is matched and aligned to another piece to capture similar characteristics, such as veining. The process is used from time to time in various circumstances, such as for larger islands that require more than one slab of stone, or for islands that have side panels, etc.

Let’s take a look at a few photos of a book-matched island from a project we recently fabricated and installed…

Add An Elegant Look To Your Kitchen With A Latinum Granite Countertop…

In this blog, I wanted to share a few install photos of a Latinum granite kitchen we recently fabricated and installed. Latinum granite is white or light colored granite that is quarried in Brazil. A gentle movement pattern can typically be seen in this stone that gives it some character. It’s soft tones help establish an elegant look, especially when paired with contrasting, darker wood tones.

Let’s take a look…

Add An Elegant Appeal To Your Bath With A Royal Light Green Onyx Vanity…

In this blog post, I wanted to share a couple photos of a Royal Light Green Onyx bathroom installation we just did. I talked briefly about this color in my last post on “Rodding,” so I thought you might to see how it turned out. It is beautiful of course! There is something about onyx that makes it stand out. I personally love the translucent look, especially if it is back-lit. The light just illuminates through the stone, giving it an elegant, appealing look.

Let’s take a look at a couple  installation photos…

Notice the pretty veining in this vanity top. The burgundy veins give a nice contrast to the lighter green and cream tones.

This smaller vanity also incorporates some veining that give it and interesting look. Notice how some of the veins run up through the backsplash giving it some continuity.

If you are interested in onyx, or another beautiful stone for your bathroom vanity, make sure stop by and take a look at all of our material selections.

Add Some Prestige To Your Kitchen With A Precious Stone…

While we install granite countertops daily, as well as other natural stones and “quartz” products, it is not every day that we get to work with a precious stone. Precious stones are beautiful gemstones and are truly works of art. They are typically hand-assembled by experienced craftspeople to create a “precious” look, unlike any other countertop material. While these stones are gorgeous, keep in mind that they can be quite spendy and quite a bit more costly than granite, or some other types of natural stone.

Let’s take a look at a precious stone we recently fabricated and installed in the color, Amethyst…

Golden Crystal Granite Installation…

In this blog, I wanted to share a few photos of some Golden Crystal granite countertops for a kitchen we recently fabricated and installed. Keep in mind that these pictures are from a job site, so they don’t show the finished project all decorated, but do show the stones characteristics. Golden Crystal is is a beautiful color with warm shades of gold, beige, and brown and is quarried in Brazil. Golden Crystal typically contains a gentle flowing pattern and may have some areas of quartz. It obviously looks great in a kitchen and would also look nice in a bathroom, or make a nice bar top, etc.

Let’s take a look…
