Add Some Appeal To Your Bath With A Delmare Quartzite Vanity…
If you are doing some remodeling and have been out shoppng for granite countertops at a local supplier, you’ve probably also noticed some slabs of quartzite. Over the last several years, quarzites have become more popular and more readily available. Quartzites are similar to granite and are also quite durable. Quartzite is a metamorphic rock that is formed with hard layers of quartz, which gives it a unique coloration and pattern. Although many people are not that familiar with quartzite, it is in fact, a good choice for countertops because it offers exceptional strength, density, and hardness, like granite.
Following are a few pictures I wanted to share of a quartzite bathroom PGC recently fabricated and installed using Delmar Quartzite:

Make A Statement With Fusion Quartzite…
In this blog, I wanted to share a few photos that our installers took of a Fusion Quartzite kitchen we recently fabricated and installed.
Let’s take a look…
Fusion Quartzite
Fusion is a beautiful color that contains a lot of movement and flow. Notice how the pattern flows from the countertop up through the backsplash.

In the photo, you can see how the flow moves from one piece to another.

This photo shows a close-up of the seam. Notice the continuity from one piece to another and how the flow matches, not to mention the tight seam.

Although this photo is a little over-exposed, you get a feel for the rest of the kitchen and a view of the sink area.
Many quartzites are known for their strength, density, and hardness, which makes them popular. Whether you are interested in a quartzite, granite, or another material for your countertops, make sure you stop by our showroom and have a look.

Spotlight On Stonewood Quartzite…
While visiting a supplier the other day, the stone below caught my eye.
Stonewood Quartzite
Stonewood is a quartzite that is quarried in Brazil. It has a distinct pattern, with neutral tones of brown, cream, and beige. While granite is by far the most popular choice for countertops, some quartzites have also become popular. Many quartzites have a unique look. They are also considered quite durable because of their density and hardness factors, which makes them a good choice for countertops.
Whether you are considering quartzite, or granite for your countertops, make sure you stop by our showroom, or give us a call. We’d be happy to answer your questions.
